The Logicus Live Portal provides the tools needed to maintain and support the Managed Operating Environment over time. The portal includes: Remote Management Console The Remote Management Console enables the remote monitoring and management of assets within the Managed Operating Environment by the technical team. Technical staff log into the console to undertake remote maintenance tasks and resolve support incidents - without requiring on-site attendance. Logicus Agents enable real time, two-way communication and interaction between every machine deployed in the environment and the management console. Logicus Agents are installed on every computer and server within the Managed Operating Environment. Agents ‘talk' to the Remote Management Console, reporting on machine availability, usage and performance, and carry out instructions issued from the management console. Help Desk The Help Desk provides a central platform for efficiently managing IT service delivery and achieving agreed support service levels for each location and workgroup. Authorised end-users can log support requests to be addressed by the technical team. Jobs can be assigned to individuals, work groups or external parties for action. The Help Desk tracks the progress of each job through to completion and enables the technical support team identify recurring problems and develop proactive strategies to address them. Timesheets & SLA Reporting The Logicus Live portal includes a timesheet system for technical staff to record the time spent on each job and effectively account for their overall support effort. It also provides you with the information required to measure and monitor service delivery against agreed service levels. Asset Register The Asset Register stores accurate, up-to-date information on every asset deployed at every location within the Managed Operating Environment. Information stored in the Logicus Live Asset Register can include asset configuration, vendor details, warranty obligations, equipment locations, suppliers and product documentation. Knowledge Base The Logicus Live Knowledge Base provides a central, searchable on-line repository of documentation and information. It is a powerful knowledge sharing and self-service communication tool that can be made available across the organisation to help users resolve issues or answer questions themselves, reducing the need for assistance or support. |
