Care4Kids Internet Café - Jinja, Uganda
In 2007 Studytech established an Internet café in Jinja, Uganda. It provided the fastest internet access to people in Jinja and beyond.  The equipment is low power and remote managed, enabling the client to concentrate on promotion and customer service aspects, rather than technical needs.

Bugembe Community Internet Cafe - Bugembe, Uganda
Following on from the success of the technology at the Care4Kids cafe, the client decided to open another in the busy town of Bugembe.  This town has a high population, but yet very little technology resources, so local leaders, politicians and the community as a whole embraced the opening of this facility and the anticipated benefit this would provide to the youth in the community.  They now have a technology centre, which contains reliable, managed, state-of-the-art equipment.

Future

We expect to commence deployment of our education solutions in schools in Uganda during 2010.  This will leverage off the success of the Studytech Managed Operating Environment (Studytech MOE) in both Australian and Ugandan projects and bring stable and reliable technology to Uganda.
